A concept DJ controller designed for the home, not the club. DJ equipment has traditionally carried a very particular visual language: technical, complex and unmistakably professional. This concept explores what happens when you keep the seriousness of the tool, but remove everything designed specifically for the professional club environment. Rather than a do-everything CDJ, it’s designed for mixing at home. The core controls you reach for constantly remain physical, while deeper functionality can live in software when and if it’s needed.

The physical interface is designed around tactility and blind operation. The size, spacing and feel of the controls draw on principles from automotive Physical UX, where familiarity and muscle memory allow an interface to be used without constantly looking at it. Material is part of that interaction too. The cold touch, weight and precision of machined metal are qualities you experience every time you use the product. Rather than softening the technology to make it feel at home, the design celebrates the machine for what it is.
