A question framed the project: what if a running shoe could teach?
Many running injuries begin with small inefficiencies in foot-strike and load balance. Left uncorrected, they build into long-term strain. Rather than adding more cushioning, the concept proposes an adaptive blade architecture that can be tuned to rebalance motion and support a more efficient stride.
Each blade can be calibrated through a digital interface, subtly shifting stiffness and energy return to retrain movement over time.
The result is a performance object that integrates structural mechanics and digital intelligence — shifting footwear from passive equipment to active coach. The development culminated in a full-scale appearance prototype, built to test proportion, material integration, and spatial logic at 1:1
